Laura Ingraham, who I once recommended as a guest on CAL, is going to be on The World Over tonight on EWTN! 😃

She is apparently going to discuss her Catholic faith, bout with cancer, and life’s mission.

In 2006, Laura came to my city on behalf of a political candidate and to record her show from the local affiliate. During her stay, her local contact ended up disclosing that she was Catholic. Laura asked if she would take her to an Adoration chapel later in the day when they had a gap in their schedule. Although (probably for obvious reasons) she seldom talks specifically about her faith on her radio show, I guess it is part of her routine while on the road to make either Mass or a Holy Hour. I hope I am not betraying any confidences by disclosing this story. I tell it because I remind myself of it: If this busy women can make this time, I have no excuse.

As a regular listener of The Laura Ingraham Show, I can say that without a doubt she openly speaks about her Catholic faith on a regular basis! I love her show. I forgot that she was going to be on The World Over so I will catch the encore . By the way, Raymond Arroyo is on her ā€œPower To The Peopleā€ tour (at least he was there for her Philly stop). Her book ā€œPower To The Peopleā€ is # one on Amazon.šŸ™‚

The same Laura Ingraham that hate monger Sean Hannity adores?

The same Laura Ingraham that encouraged mass calls to the Democratic voting problem hotline?

Honestly.

Is this episode archived on EWTN??

I couldn’t find it with a quick glance. I am glad to see her Catholicism come out seemingly more and more. Much better than everything being along political lines all the time. I’d love to see what she said.

I didn’t check to see if you listened to it on the radio or computer or saw it on television, but on tv it is shown again Sunday at 4 p.m. & Monday at 10 a.m & 11 p.m. So there are other opportunities to see it again.šŸ™‚

I heard an encore of the show. I had no idea her conversion was so recent. I think she is trying to make a mark in the world through this campaign against porn. I can’t think of anything more worthwhile myself.

I have a CD version of the book, though, and it doesn’t play right.

I saw it last night. I thought she was very forthright in defending her faith and calling out this debased culture. We need more strong voices like hers.

I saw most of it last night. I think she had some good things to say. I had never heard of her before last night.

I just bought her newest book. Her radio program always made me laugh out loud.

where does charity fit into her show now that she’s catholic? i’ve only heard it once but it sounded like the kind of shrill, vicious and ultimately mindless political shock jock stuff that i can’t stand (i include both rush limbaugh and randi rhoades into this category).

Listened to her interview as replayed last night. It was very good! I didn’t realize all this time that she was not raised Catholic. I had been under the impression that she was more lapse most of her life, but apparently she was raised Evangelical (or did she say Baptist…I forget now :whacky: ).

I’ve really enjoyed her show when listening while on the road. She’s refreshing. She doesn’t mind critisising either party, I’ve noticed. I’ve heard her lay into our current President too. She is very no nonsense, and is no dittohead. I’ve heard her mention her strong pro-life view, but never heard that she was Catholic. Thanks for the post!

Is this your idea of an intelligent response?

You might want to put a warning the next time you put a link to a leftist site that is full of vile & disgusting comments (but then, I shouldn’t expect any less from them). Did you read every comment? These are intelligent people? Oh yeah, they’re the ā€œenlightendā€ ones. They’re the smart ones. . Frequent the site do you?
