The dialogue on this issue validates, in my view, about apostasy.
The last poster has a different understanding of the scripture noted, Daniel 2:44. So who is right?
One thing I respect my Mormon friends about is that they understand the Bible to be correct so far as it was translated correctly. The different translations among whatever church obviously has different interpretation among the churches.
Courtwiswa,
You like many are caught in a bubble that will not allow you to receive Christ’s humility which will permit you to see that your mind is not where truth lies and just because you can find someone to agree with you does not make your fallable interpretation of a bible verse TRUTH.
The one truth that I see from your remarks is that you do not believe that Christ is who the any and all translations of the old and new testaments state He is. Read Isaiah 53 or Psalm 22 to know that in perfect innocence He was sentenced to die and did for any and all sins of those who believe and humbly ask for forgiveness.
Share in the Good News that Jesus is Lord and the ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD.
Share in the Good News that we must come to God through the eyes of a CHILD. I believe that to mean that I must depend, obey, and trust in the ONE AND ONLY GOD of this UNIVERSE `, just like being ‘BORN AGAIN’
God is ONE in THREE PERSONS. IF you believe in this than you would not doubt in the one true Church…the Body of Christ…the Catholic Church. This does not in any way mean that a Catholic is worth more to God than anyone not Catholic. It just means that Christ wanted believers to be able to stay on track. So He gave that way to His children.
His Church, which was later named the Catholic Church, is the choice that Christ gave to the world prior to His departure to get to Heaven. Many people don’t know it and since they don’t they are not at fault.
Peace and Happiness to all on this celebrated day of Jesus’ birth.
May you open your heart to the gift of humility.
