It sickens me that not only is our government trying to push a homosexual agenda on our own people, they’re also trying to corrupt other countries by getting them to accept

No; this is peanuts compared to the persecution our LORD faced, or what Christians in the Muslim world are putting up with right now.
Whenever the local religion is not faith in our LORD, you can expect at least low-grade persecution. The USA has practiced secular hedonism for about 2 generations now.

“They” think it is backward, un-Modern (yay), and WRONG! We Christians live in some kind of medieval and unenlightened dystopia, blah, blah, blah. You heard that the APA wants to take pedophilia *off *the list of mental disorders, right??
It has only struck me recently that, ironically, there seems to be rampant Islamophobia & homophobia, but never *ever * Christo-phobia or hetero-phobia.

Secondly these positions are political favors. Any real work is done through the State Department. Being at the American Embassy in Poland isn’t exactly a sensitive position. Its filled with political favors, relatives of politicians, and other such.
The language used in cables is unabashed honesty and naked evaluation. Its ultimately up to the State Department and other higher ups to figure out what to do with the mountain of opinions, information, and analysis that come out of embassies.
