Secondly these positions are political favors. Any real work is done through the State Department. Being at the American Embassy in Poland isn’t exactly a sensitive position. Its filled with political favors, relatives of politicians, and other such.
The language used in cables is unabashed honesty and naked evaluation. Its ultimately up to the State Department and other higher ups to figure out what to do with the mountain of opinions, information, and analysis that come out of embassies.

Nowhere in Catholic doctrine are we instructed to shift the burden of private and communal Charity willy-nilly onto Central Statist institutions IE - “Peoples Programs” run by the National Government. In fact, it violates the Principle of Subsidiarity on a wholesale level. The massive corruption and poor oversight in comparison to more localized missions calls the prudence of such programs into question as well. Nationalized programs commonly come into being in violation Subsidiarity merely for the sake of giving politicians the outward appearance of being charitable. (While literally laughing at concerns as to Constitutional limits on such exercises of power that protect the citizens from Government abuse, might I add.)

To vilify politicians for opposing the Nationalization of social welfare is uncharitable and falls prey to what the Holy Father warned us about in Caritas in Veritate:

If only the catholic church in this country was source of spreading “homophobia” in the USA. I take it as a complement.

No kidding! Poland is awesome!!! Actually listening to the Church–who knew? Seems almost novel.

Of course, as has been noted, “homophobia” is really a lack of support for homosexual acts, not a fear or disdain for homosexuals or, more accurately, people with same-sex attraction themselves. (And I’m not saying you’re on a different page. Just want to specify.) Boo, homophobia! Same-sex-attracted people are God’s children too, just struggling with temptation that not all of us struggle with.

Pres G W Bush did not run against Obama.
Discussing Bush now is a ploy of the socialist Democrats, so that people will not hold Obama responsible for his actions.

He is paying for more czars and their staffs than any other President.

The USA is now 35% higher in debt than when Obama took office.
Debt is now over $14.7 TRILLION dollars.

Let’s talk about **subsidizing the RICH - Obama **used taxpayer dollars to give million dollar raises to executives of failed companies.
He used taxpayer dollars for - ACORN, AIG, Stanley Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Wells Fargo, Citi-Group, US Bankcorp, GMAC, Captial One, BankAmerica, American Express, Sun Trust, Fifth Third, Commerica, Country-wide, JP Morgan Chase, GM, Chrysler, and Cash for Clunkers.
Legitimate business should stand on its own, and go bankrupt if necessary to allow them to reorganize.

He is trying to force Obamacare down the throats of all Amercians. And he has exempted over 200 huge (corporate) Unions and Corporations from Obamacare. Putting the burden of healthcare for all Americans on small businesses.
(Yes, today most US unions are big multi-million dollar businesses - they are big Corporations. The rank and file get no say - which politicians get their hard earned dues.)

We must pay attention to those in polticial office now, and hold each polticians accountable for their own actions and votes.
Don’t be distracted by those who can not defend the actions of current politicians.
