Why do you keep being so hateful? All anybody has to do is read your post’s to realize you need some lessons in loving your brother. You say that you are no expert, but yet claim to know what is absolute truth. The only thing that you have to go by is what other men have told you or what you have read, and you claim that to be all truth but we are all wrong. I feel sorry for your attitude.

whoa whoa, what makes you think he is hateful? do you know the intention of his heart or the manner in which he typed those words?

I heard a wonderful analogy i will share with you…Sodium Chloride is made of two elements, Sodium and Chlorine. Sodium by itself is a soft metal that is extremley volitale and will explode when it comes in contact with moisture. Chlorine is a noxious gas, deadly. But when you put them together, you have table salt.We use it to season our foods, and preserve meat.
The same can be said of Love and Truth, truth without love is often hurtful(next time your girlfriend or wife asks you how they look in this dress remember these words ) love without truth is blind.

If you see a brother walking down a road that leads to a dead end, is it uncharitable to tell him “Ive been down that road, it is the wrong way?” In fact wouldn’t the law of love require us to do such? This is what Church Militant is doing, from what i percieve he is speaking the truth in love for his brother.

How do we know anything apart from what other men have told us or what we have read?
NonDenom do you believe in truth or do you believe for example that all churches are created equal? Maybe you say, “whatever works for you.” There are alot of different churches and alot of different beliefs. Maybe you take an anything goes approach because it is comfortable,tolerant, and politically correct, because you dont want to make waves. Well, the truth divides.

But, of course, there must be divisions among you so that those of you who are right will be recognized!

Watch out for people who cause divisions and upset people’s faith by teaching things that are contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them.

Now, dear brothers and sisters, I appeal to you by the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ to stop arguing among yourselves. Let there be real harmony so there won’t be divisions in the church.

So which Church was first and has persisted? Which Churches are the divisions that Paul condemned?

NonDenom, Austin, if there is a Church that is right or more right, that is based more in truth than all the others, do you want to be a part of it?
I propose that the Catholic Church is this Church, and if you scour this website, as someone seeking truth would be willing to do, I think you will find some of those reasons.

Austin, stay, find a new Parish but stay. Grace, peace, mercy and blessing be upon you from God our Father through Christ our Lord.
