And sex exists in adulterous relationships. It doesn’t make it right… even if “she totally loves me”.Thank you Bartolome Casas for reminding our zealous brethren of this grace-filled teaching of Christ. Many would do well to consider what attracts fellow Christians (including many former Roman Catholics) to Protestant/“tongues-speaking” churches.
The Church recognizes the Holy Spirit is active in non-Catholic churches. Much of their worship and preaching can edify even a strong Roman Catholic’s faith.

The Socialist Review… err… National Catholic Review, in the above link, outlines how utterly un-Catholic this line of thinking is by embracing it totally.
The principal reasons given by people who leave the church to become Protestant are that their “spiritual needs were not being met” in the Catholic church (71 percent) and they “found a religion they like more” (70 percent). Eighty-one percent of respondents say they joined their new church because they enjoy the religious service and style of worship of their new faith.
Where, pray tell, do the ones blaming their leaving on lack of tradition go? Not Protestant if that is the reasoning. In other words, the Catholic church has failed to deliver what people consider fundamental products of religion: spiritual sustenance and a good worship service. And before conservatives blame the new liturgy, only 11 percent of those leaving complained that Catholicism had drifted too far from traditional practices such as the Latin Mass.
The non-traditional ones, they just seem to go wherever “the Spirit leads them”. I find it odd that the Holy Spirit would divide the Church and purposefully make enemies of the Church, and cause people to deny the perpetual virginity of Mary, her Immaculate Conception, etc. Impossible in fact. No, this can’t be the Holy Spirit’s work. This is the work of the Devil. Protestantism is a bad thing.
In other words, even the leftists admit that people just want to have an a la carte faith and religion and thus leave the true Church.
It just goes down hill from there as it seems most become anti-Catholic in full effect.
