The founder of the Legionaries of Christ passed away recently and I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about the Vatican’s decision to invite the founder to a life of private prayer (due to allegations of sexual abuse).
I have always been impressed with the seminary formation of the Legionaries. The Legion did not change there seminary formation at all after the second Vatican Council. While almost every other order did just that–(other than the mass of course—shhh)
Does anyone have opinions on whether the Vatican’s decision implies guilt??
Does anyone have strong opinions either way?
