So, as we all know ,Lent is nearly upon us.
For me, this is a time of the liturgical year when I feel pulled in more ways than may be good for one who really wants to find the peace in which to meditate.
I’m a mom and an active member of my child’s Catholic school life. PTA and all the various fund-raising auctions, volunteer teaching, etc.
I’m also a lector a cantor and the chair of the Liturgy committee.
My priest wants to have me make new banners for Easter.
Please do not get me wrong, I love all this stuff, it’s just that this is the time to pause and reflect. I really need to do this.
My question is this: How does one live in such a busy world and find the space to spend time only with God? Do you, my friends in Christ, have any pointers to offer?
