So, as we all know ,Lent is nearly upon us.
For me, this is a time of the liturgical year when I feel pulled in more ways than may be good for one who really wants to find the peace in which to meditate.
I’m a mom and an active member of my child’s Catholic school life. PTA and all the various fund-raising auctions, volunteer teaching, etc.
I’m also a lector a cantor and the chair of the Liturgy committee.
My priest wants to have me make new banners for Easter.
Please do not get me wrong, I love all this stuff, it’s just that this is the time to pause and reflect. I really need to do this.
My question is this: How does one live in such a busy world and find the space to spend time only with God? Do you, my friends in Christ, have any pointers to offer? ❤️ :gopray2:

You do not have to give a lot of time. Surely 15 minutes (even if that means getting up just a bit earlier or something) extra to spend in prayer would work out. If you really do not have time even for that, you might want to back off on some of the other things you do- it is good to be involved in your parish, but not at the expense of your prayer life.
