Hello,
Since I am so addicted and love these forums so much, I decided that I wanted to let you know that I am going to be leaving CAF for Lent. See you all after Easter. 😉 God Bless you all and may God Bless your families and marriages and vocations! 🙂

**I will be praying for all of your intentions during this Lent Season at every mass. **

Since this is not what I am giving up for lent, I do not feel bad “adding” to mine this morning after posting a bit.

So “me too”.

God Bless everyone and I will see you after Lent. I will keep all here in my prayers until then.

Aww…man. You gave away the ending! Did you come out of The Empire Strikes Back and say to crowed waiting for the next showing, “Who would have thought Darth Vader was Luke’s father?”?

Because, I view this forum as a means of strengthening my faith and increasing my knowledge, I will not be giving it up.

I do not think it would be wise to give up a positive influence, unless a more positive activity is substituted.

But, I know my own weaknesses, and I probably would just fritter away the gained time.

I am testing her word to not peek! Anyway, I thought it somewhat goofy to say “have a spirit-filled Lent” when it would be over when she saw it. I knew the ending because I just read the book. The live show is better, though.

I have found that praying for others through CAF has strengthened my prayer life. Perhaps I should just remain quiet and keep praying - I have learned that is usually good advice (to me anyhow) 🙂

I won’t be giving up CAF either because I agree it strengthens my faith. I think I may not spend as MUCH time on here though. But I’ll be praying for those who are since we won’t hear from them for a while!
 
I’ll keep you all in prayer. I’m sticking around, too.
