But Jon’s first sentence is right on target that we shouldn’t have to dilute our Christian identity and Culture to help those in need. I find it very troubling that these churches feel they have to dilute their message and identity to help those in need.Jon , the vast majority of the refugees are in fact , refugees , fleeing suffering, death , rape etc , not jihadists, no they wouldn’t go to near by lands , because western lands are better able to help them.
As I said, it sends the wrong message at the very least.
And it tells secular humanists" go ahead and mow over us we’ll bend to whatever you want"
What about the Catholic churches and missions that have helped the poor while displaying the beautiful crucifixes and art they have in their churches?
Jon is absolutely right we shouldn’t have to give up our culture, traditions and art to help the suffering and those in need.
