Thank you , Father , for Suma , one of our parishioners from Kerala , India . With her husband and two sons they are an example to us all , and the country is much richer for their presence .
 
Christ entered in triumph into his own city, to complete his work as our Messiah: to suffer, to die, and to rise again. Let us remember with devotion this entry which began his saving work and follow him with a lively faith. ( From Palm Sunday Liturgy)

Thank you , Father , that there was no one killed in the fire in Notre-Dame de Paris , and thank for the fire-fighters .
 
It is truly right and just,
our duty and our salvation,
at all times to acclaim you, O Lord, but
above all to laud you yet more gloriously,
when Christ our Passover has been sacrificed.

For he is the true Lamb who has taken away the sins of the world;
by dying he has destroyed our death,
and by rising, restored our life.

for his Death is our ransom from death,

He never ceases to offer himself for us
but defends us and ever pleads our cause before you:
he is the sacrificial Victim who dies no more,
the Lamb, once slain, who lives for ever.
