Let's offer prayer for members of the "Banned" wagon

As discussions become impassioned and members receive warnings due to lack of charity (Ahem!), let us offer prayer for the troubled and struggling hearts of those who are now banned from the forums; those not open to God’s truth, whose ego interferes with their reasoning and communication, and whose hearts are hardened to Christ’s Church. May the peace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ come to rest upon, and remain with them and all of us. Amen.

While I don’t have a problem with asking for “prayers” for the banned, I must say that this thread comes off as awful condescending, making one wonder if those of us who are NOT banned, but somehow manage to remain in the good graces of the board are the ones who need prayer, as well as the willingness to be more understanding of the “banned” and their legitimate concerns.

Since I consider myself the least of all on the forums, I am unable to condescend. I offered this for the sake of some with whom I may never again communicate. Kindly notice that I ask the peace of Christ to come upon us (me) as well. I am the first sinner and the worst sinner. I rarely ask for prayer, but please consider this an invitation.
