For the repose of the soul of Father FR, a priest who passed away for COVID-19 last night in northern Italy at the age of 67. He founded a homeless shelter and a foster care place for troubled minors; he was chaplain of the local prison and was very active in the care of all forgotten and marginalized people.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

  1. Mary’s cousin Elizabeth conceived a son in her old age… for nothing is impossible with God.
  2. Charity prompts Mary to hasten to visit Elizabeth in the hour of her need.
  3. The journey to Elizabeth’s home is about eighty miles requiring four or five days.
  4. Though long and arduous, the journey is joyous, for Mary bears with her the Incarnate Word.
  5. At Mary’s salutation, John the Baptist is sanctified in his mother’s womb.
  6. Elizabeth exclaims: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.”
  7. “How have I deserved that the mother of my Lord should come to me?”
  8. “Blessed is she who believed that the Lord’s words to her would be fulfilled.”
  9. Mary replies: “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, and my spirit finds joy in God my Savior.”
  10. Mary serves her cousin in all humility for three months until the birth of John the Baptist.

Dear Katherine: Thank you kindly for including me in your prayers today. My intentions today will include you, your loved ones, and others in our CAF family. You and others at this forum are each an instrument of God’s peace.
 
There’s a 5 o’clock deadline for my daughter getting this house … so far she’s the frontrunner … very hard to get a nice home where she lives … a lot of competition and people with more money than she has.

She had to sell her beautiful home because she believed the area was not safe … it was a hard decision but she did what was best for her family. Now they are homeless and living with relatives waiting to find a home.

This was the perfect house … not much on the market due to the virus … and now the interest rates are starting to go up because of unemployment … I feel so bad for her.
