What is going on with dissenters that they constantly feel the need to cause confusion and division within the Church? It just baffles me that men of such intelligence don’t see the damage they do or can potentially do!
Ego. Satan’s tricks. They saw that apple, and just HAD to have it.
“I’m RIGHT damn it!”,… and they do damn it,… the Church.
But of course, you only damn yourself when you do that, so,… obviously they need our prayers to get real.
Intelligence is no guarantor of wisdom, as the contrast between the “bad” (but no doubt “logical”) reasoning that they believe as they do and the reasoning of the Church by which it was condemned.
Is any of this really surprising?
