Nobody has died and come back. Anyone who has “come back” was resuscitated and not dead. When you are dead your soul leaves your body and that is permanent.

It is an infallible teaching of the Church that the soul leaves the body at death and is immediately judged. That is called the Particular Judgement. Anyone dying in a state of mortal sin goes immediately to Hell and those dying in a state of grace are immediately saved (either straight to Heaven or Purgatory first).Well your the expert on death you know all about it ignore it

I believe because it is such an awesome universe. We are beginning to appreciate the quantum realm and how there are deeper levels of our being. It makes some sense to me that our consciousness goes deeper than our material body. It makes more sens to me to look at it backward, our deeper consciousness (Soul) is the foundation of the body.So my question is why do you believe that there is life after death?

Of course there is no scientific evidence. Science does not try to prove the supernatural. Science describes natural processes but it is very limited. It is limited to the material world. Trying to disprove the supernatural via science is like saying gravity doesn’t exist because a voltmeter didn’t respond to its presence.
The scientific method while useful isn’t the only method of inquiry available.

I’m not going to change my mind because one priest for whatever reason, maybe his own doubts, decided to reject Church teaching on life after death and lead you astray in the process. Priests are human and sometimes they have doubts and say wrong things. We believe in Jesus Christ’s teachings which are expressed through the teaching of his Church, not something contrary to Church teaching that some priest in a weak moment might say.How can we be so sure because I ask a priest ones, do you believe in life after death, and he responded, no.
I’m also pretty sure that if I took a poll of all the priests I know, 99 to 100 percent of them would say they believe in life after death. Some of them have even discussed it from the pulpit or in the confessional with me.

After my grandma’s death, I have started to think that there is no life after death. But my Catholic faith teach me that we have a life after death. I am really unsure about it, because we do not have any evidence of that there is a life after deathm
So my question is why do you believe that there is life after death? How can we be so sure because I ask a priest ones, do you believe in life after death, and he responded, no.
i don’t want to question my faith, because I know that it’s a sin, but sometimes I just can’t ignore that issue!
