I asked about the sign at a cafe near my mother in law’s retirement community saying something like “no bathing suits”, asking if they really needed a sign like that.

the young lady shuddered and explained that old men would come in in nothing but their speedos, and that she couldn’t unsee it . . .

I know this is a joke post, but as a HCP, I can assure you this is a lot more common than people realize…
