I was married to a guy like that.
Apparently my vows included being Google (general, Translate & Maps), resident Logistics Officer, overall Hospitality Industry Staff and Senior Breadwinner.
With some perspective, it’d have been good to have it in writing, even fine print.
 
I’ve heard of the other way around as well.

The husband of a stay-at-home wife retires. Suddenly he knows exactly what his wife is doing wrong in running the house.
 
Nah, I learned from my mother that if one complains about how something is done, he’s likely to find himself doing it . . .

I had to chuckle at this one, even though it was not my experience. By the time I attended Catholic school, the Sisters had modified their habit, and the rules were almost always tempered by kindness and consideration. I was, however, suspended for one day in the 7th grade over my long hair 😠.
