Yes, another year, another chance to fill out those dang emergency contact cards.

Entirely from scratch
 
As a teacher and a mom, I’ve never had that feeling of “can’t-wait-to-send-my-kid-back-to-school” feeling. I love spending those lazy days and weeks with my kid, and my school year always starts a week or two before his.
 
What is up with that?! 😠

My school district requires parents to register their kids every single year, from scratch. They all have ID numbers – why not just let them (name removed by moderator)ut the number, verify old info (the child’s birthday won’t have changed, for example) or update it accordingly?

As it is, the system was clearly designed by administrators… who have secretaries to handle their mind-numbing paperwork.
 
As I recall, my mom couldn’t wait for summer to end and for school to start again 😠. Once we reached school age, she seemed to hate having us kids just hang around the house, and she often forced us into summer school for enrichment courses 😒. This would be good stuff to tell my therapist 😭, but since I can’t afford therapy I’m telling you 😠.

Wow. Best we ever did was twenty couple years before the fruitcake -er- wore out.
 
That’s what bus cards are for. You buy them with a visa and you can refill them online. Lots of bigger cities you can even buy them at the station.

Much better than figuring out how on earth you’re going to get to the bank to keep a stock of change without wasting half a day.
