Two great videos showing the spectacular beauty of the St. Catalina mountains. They make living in Tucson a pleasure.
The big rocks in the rock climbing video are called ‘The Ravens’. I like to hike around there and have painted/drawn them many times. Here’s one of my artistic interpretations with a Peregrine Falcon. I can’t fail to see them when I’m up there.

The end of the day today. The St. Catalina’s from my backyard (extreme telephoto). If you look closely, there’s a tiny hole in the rock outcropping at the upper right. It’s a 15’ high window in the rock and is what Ventana Canyon, Ventana Peak, etc., derive their name. I’ve hiked up to it twice and out in the dark once.

600 years ago I was hotly pursuing a Tellurian Cat of Death from a star you’ve never heard of, but anyways…long story.
So I was in inhuman mode pursuing at about 30,000 km / s, and I didn’t see the cliff until it was too late and was unable to pull up in time. But I did apprehend the Tellurian, saving Earth and Human kind once again since I came to your little blue plant.
Grainy picture because my camera isn’t very good, but the Milky Way was awesome this morning from a dark site out in the country.
