Ahh I wonder if Arizona is like where I live,we sow crops of grain in the Autumn, the cerial crops grow all through Winter and Spring and are harvested in Summer.
I noticed oak trees often don’t shed their leaves where I live until the beginning of Spring.
Arizona, generally speaking, is very dry. I don’t think they have much agriculture there.
(Someone will probably come and correct me now. )
It is fairly diverse as far as ecosystems, climates, habitats go. I might go to Mt. Lemmon and climb some rocks at some point, but other than that, no plan to go really.
It’s actually an area, more than a specific mountain. A person can rock climb there at many different times of the year, I think, as the altitude is rather variable, so the higher you go the cooler the temperatures one might find to escape the heat.
If I’d have had a camera on me today I would have taken a photo of a cute shingle back lizard in a garden.
I caught and released it so my friends little daughter could have a close up look
