So are you suggesting that there is no distinction in roles in this scripture? Does it not suggest that a husband participates in “mutual submission” by righteously and sacrificially leading and the wife by deferring to that leadership? Again, the Christian leadership is not meant to be an unloving dictatorship, but certainly scripture indicates a distinction in roles within marriage…And, likewise, 5:21 & 25 say the same for husbands.
