It is so very sad.

Father, I beg of you to comfort the brother of this little girl.
Help him to overcome this terrible accident.
Grant this family strength and comfort.
We ask this in the name of Jesus.

Please God, hear this prayer. Please comfort little Maria’s family and help her brother to recover from the shock of this tragic accident. Please help him to regain his peace of mind and not be damaged by natural guilt that such a thing could happen.
 
I just saw this and was just about to post it. Glad someone else saw it too. My prayers are with them in this time of tragedy!
 
Creator God, it is at times like this that our human minds fail to grasp the perfection of Your Divine plan. We cannot see the greater good that comes from such events. We completely lack the ability to understand the limits of your Goodness and Mercy. And so, Father, we beseech You to look with great mercy upon the spirit of this child, dear to us, but unfathomably precious to You. We ask that you comfort her family and loved ones by revealing Your presence to them in their grief. We know that there is forgiveness for any and all culpability in such tragedies. Graciously incline Your ear to hear the intercession of Christ Jesus, at Your Right Hand. We plead that You mercifully join our prayers with those of the Angels and Saints to form an eternal petition for mercy upon all involved. Grant this, O Loving God, through Jesus Christ, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!
 
How tragic this unfortunate accident is. Thank you God for bringing Maria into the lives of people that love her so much. We don’t know why this child was taken from them so early. Please take little Maria to the land of your angels and give her family peace from anxiety…They must be feeling great pain and sorrow. Please comfort them.

I was just going to post this very request.

Father, please help Stephen ans his family deal with this two-fold tragedy. Take them in your loving arms and console them.
 
I can’t believe this. Having adopted a daughter from China, I am familiar with the Chapman family. We have bought the children’s books that the Chapman’s have written about adoption from China. We bought their recent Christmas CD that has pictures of their 3 adopted girls. What a terrible tragedy. Lord Jesus, I pray for the repose of the soul of Maria Sue. I pray for her teenage brother. I pray for her Mom and Dad and siblings.

Mother Mary, please pray for the Chapmans.
 
He produces very good songs, and his most recent one “Cinderella” is about dancing with his daughter who grows too fast.

My prayers are with the Chapman family during this time. I thank God they have a strong faith and am confident they will feel the strength and love of the Spirit we are all asking to be sent their way.

In particular, however, may the brother find peace in time. I imagine he will have a difficult time forgiving himself even though others would not wish him to carry such a burden. May the Lord guide him through the mourning process with the support of family and friends.

St. Anthony, dear friend and heavenly guide, be present to this young man now, and let him know your compassion. Pray to our dear Lord for me, that this young man may experience calmness and peace in his emotions.

Help him to grow in faith and hope. Protect him from all that displeases God, and obtain for him serenity of mind and spirit.

I place all my confidence in you, St. Anthony, and I pray for mercy, grace and God’s gentle goodness to be bestowed upon this young man during this tragic time. Amen.
 
We ask the angels to comfort this family in this time of their loss. We ask that the suffering of these parents would be offered in conjunction with your suffering Lord Jesus for the redemption of the world. Maria, since you are with the Church Triumphant now, please pray for all of us. We are all sorrowful for what has happened to you and the souls of so many others who days were short here on earth.

Praying for this young child of God. he must have had a special reasont to take her so young. Only God knows how long our earthly lives will be. God, please bless the family and friends and all those prayerfull people here at the CAF. Please give them family and friends peace and freedom from anxiety. lessen any feelings of guilt they may have for it was not their fault. The family loved this young girl very much.
 
Heavenly Father, embrace this child into Your eternal banquet. Comfort mercifully her surviving relatives and friends. Amen. :signofcross:
 
I just was catching up on prayers here at CAF and came across the one above about his song Cinderella. I listen to a Christian station here in Orlando and they play that song all the time. I love the song but did not realize it was sung by the Dad. (I don’t know the names of the songs…just the songs)…I’m still praying that God will give the family peace and free them from anxiety during this most difficult time. I pray that God will lessen their tears of sadness and help them feel (and Know) that this little child is now an angel in Heaven…watching over them as they used to watch over her…
