I’m only trying to provide relevent answers to the original poster; we all need to keep in mind that this is a thread regarding the differences/similarities between the musical forms of hymn and song, not a place for the discussion of the Gregorian Chant’s use, the proper way of receiving communion, or TLM vs. NO.

I’m only trying to keep the thread on topic and relevent to the OP.
