If you’re looking for the current Liturgy of the Hours, that’s not it. That link is the long-awaited 1961 Extraordinary Form Breviary in English and Latin in accordance with Summorum Pontificum. I expect the modern Liturgy of the Hours to be retranslated along the same principles as the Mass, but that probably won’t be till Doomsday.

The Breviary linked above is great but it should be prayed in Latin (I’m not of the common crowd that says laity can do whatever they want with the Divine Office). The great thing here is that the English helps you understand what you’re praying. If you want to participate in the Official Prayer of the Church in English, use the vernacular edition of the Liturgy of the Hours approved by your Episcopal Conference.
 
The American version of the breviar is horrible. Bad wording/phrasing and those awful Psalm-Prayers. Ugh!

The Psalm-prayers, first of all, are optional. And no, they’re not that bad, they are only in a more conversational type of vernacular.

Yes, the Collects are not a literal translation of the Latin, but they are a fair approximation according to the principles laid out at the time (as per Comme le Prevoit).

But ultimately, this is the APPROVED version of the Divine Office in English for the United States and Canada, and therefore is the gift of the Church to us. I look forward to the retranslation, but in the meantime, I will let the authority of the Church take precedence, and will not let my own preferences rob me of the joy of prayer.

If you pray the “horrible” American version, you are praying the Divine Office. If you pray the beautiful English translation of the Baronius breviary, you are NOT praying the Divine Office, but only devotional prayer based on it.
