Liturgy of the Hours

I just received my set yesterday, and I’m really enjoying it. I also do the day prayers, and it seems as though they readings are different than the ones provided in the condensed version (I haven’t checked them all, but this is nice since the daily prayers can get repetative).

Daytime prayer in *Christian Prayer *(the one-volume version) is on a one-week cycle. In the 4 volume it is on a 4-week cycle.

Travelling and vacation time always make it more difficult for me to get it in the time I need for prayer. I tend to reduce my prayers to morning and evening during such times.

I have been praying the entire Office for almost 5 years. I STILL get screwed up on weekends! It takes a little planning ahead.

What a source of blessings.
