Still can’t follow abbreviations …maybe but not sure whom you are referring to. But if some of those German cardinals and bishops keep to their agenda during their synod …there will be a slow cooking frog in the pot and he will be a gonna after a rigorous boil.

It seems better to drop the frog in boiling water as they do with a lobster. Would not an immediate death instead of a prolonged agonizing death be a better way to kill an animal you are about to eat?

O in the USA …we label everything and do it to people all the time.

Error does not make one a schismatic. It simply makes one wrong.

Disobedience does not make one a schismatic. It simply makes one disobedient.

Now setting up your own church with its own “pope”, does make one schismatic. I see no sign that this synod will do that. It will, disobediently, discuss controversial topics that the Church would rather not be discussed.

So it should be addressed on that level. Accusing it of something it isn’t may in fact drive schism more than the act of disobedience itself.

The healthy thing to do of course would be for the Church to openly allow these topics to be discussed, and to provide solid refutation where warranted (dogmas), and allow open debate where warranted (disciplines).

Do you mean the SSPX? They have locations throughout the US, and their District House is in Missouri there, plus I believe they have locations, houses, schools, etc. world-wide.
