I’m not sure…it’s an icon I used for a school project. Found it randomly on Bing.

I’m just a regular Catholic. I go to the English mass on Sunday, adoration, bible reading, rosary. Not a traditional Catholic although I agree with a lot of their beliefs and would be open to it if someone guided me but as of now no there is no opportunity.

Well get serious about your faith or at least try to eradicate some of sin or bad habits.

You can try other dating apps too and events to meet people even if they aren’t specifically Catholic. Then just try to cultivate and strengthen friendships and work on improving yourself.

In the end you can’t expect God to find you the right person to date or marry. You have to date and see how things can work out

A few suggestions from someone in their 40’s who never got married, even though I wish I had. I do feel “happy” or “good” about my life in general, so this has worked for me…
  1. Continue to go to weekly Mass and frequent (for me twice a month or so) Sacrament of Confession.
  2. Quality daily prayer…Scripture, Life of the Saints, your preferred devotion (Rosary, etc.). I suggest 20 minutes minimum, preferably 30 minutes. When my personal prayer time isn’t quality, I know it and feel bad.
  3. Try for 30 minutes to an hour a week in Adoration if possible around you.
  4. Have friend and family time, but do not be afraid to have personal activity time for yourself.
  5. Maintain hobbies and activities you like to do. They don’t have to be expensive ones.
  6. Keep a cheerful attitude. No one wants to be around a downer (not saying that you are, just that it hurts our general dealings with others).
  7. Volunteer in some way - I teach Religious Ed for example.
  8. You must be in a good place internally and with the Lord before you can approach society with full confidence. (To thine own self be true and all).
  9. Maintain a good work/hobby/volunteering/Faith balance.
I’d suggest if all those are met, you’ll be happy even if you don’t have a girlfriend or spouse…but don’t forget to keep on trying for that GF or spouse. However, you’ll still be in good shape if you don’t have one.

You need to be happy with yourself in and with God’s love and mercy in the Church before worrying about a girlfriend in my humble opinion.

Melo. Will pray for you. You would like to date and marry a devout Catholic woman. But you are on a drinking spree, you want to be a bartender ( I wonder what kind of work hours that would look like and how it would help you and your future wife live a fruitful, holy family life ?) You’re sinning and don’t have any motivation to go to mass etc. "The fear of God is the first stage of wisdom. ". (In bible somewhere) A devout catholic woman usually hopes to find a devout catholic man and if you are serious about giving a 100% of your self to a woman in the sacrament of marriage, then working on a virtuous life will be such a gift to your future wife, and we all get lonely at times and so did Christ—he knew rejection, he knew the feeling of people thinking he was crazy or in pack with the devil. But he didn’t know sin, he took your sins and mine on the cross… He suffered for you and rose from the dead. He has a plan for your life. How will you ever discover the plan God has for you if you choose vice and are not seeking holiness? Please get to the sacrament of reconciliation and pour out your heart to Christ …confession is embracing the resurrection of Christ. I hope you are also talking and praying to our Blessed Mother. Peace brother, will pray for you.

This is really a great teaching. We all need to work and ask for more faith. Thanks!
