The Church is under direct assault by its enemies, because it opposes free abortion and homosexuality. which are attributes of the new sexual morality that is killing whole nations. Babies are now seen as threats to the easy life led by many rather than bearers of the future of their nations. As for the accusations, the Nazis used the same tactics during the 1930s to discredit the clergy in the eyes of Catholics in the Reich. But it is also the consequence of the willingness of bishops and priests to soften the teachings of the Church and to minimize the distinction between Catholics and others and to succumb to the false teachings of modern psychology about the nature of human. sexuality.
Excellent summary; well stated.

The other day Laura Ingraham on her radio program was discussing this with Raymond Arroyo and they said the same thing.

The Catholic Church ALONE stands blocking acceptance of homosexual lifestyles, abortion, and the elimination of what we refer to as “family values”.

And the forces of Modernism are working overtime to undermine the Church.

The article is presents nothing new and is just another filler piece. It reports two things that are fairly typical of what is going on in the current media campaign againts the church.

the first is that Paul Collins was subject to an investigation whilst being a priest for things he wrote against the church. He left under a cloud and has been making mischief ever since - its funny how some articles dont give the contect when they quote somebody and always seem to know where to go for the quotes they want.

The second thing in the article that i know something about is the demo in London. It was led by a militant homosexual called Peter Tatchell who hates the church because …

I gave you the same sort of opportunity. Sorry it didn’t work out.

I hope that you have a good day as well.
You made a claim, and did not back it. No one claimed there were pro Catholic stories, you cannot back your statements by throwing in a red herring.

I am also waiting for substantiationn of you statement.

I actually think the curch will be stronger as a result of this media campaign:
  1. because it will clearly lead to the purging of all those corrupt priests and i am sure no few new ones will ever come along again in future
  2. it will purge the church of the cafeteria and look warm catholics who quite frankly drag it down with thier ecuminism and trying to be all things to everyone. We need to get back to pure catholic teaching which clearly differentiates us from the world. We will not be able to convince anybody of our message of faith hope and love if we collectively do not LOVE the church we are in.

Godwin’s law at it’s finest!

The church is under attack for it’s actions in hiding the rape and pedophilia involving children.
Seems like the church is accepting of homosexuality by accepting the behavior of it’s homosexual priests. eh?
If babies are so important, the catholic children who were abused should have been taken care of properly instead of being ignored.
The only softening taking place is by bishops and priests of moral principles.
Kind of negates all of youe arguements, doesn’t it?

Why do you continue to ignore my questions? They don’t go along with your storyline?

No, individuals are under attack.

I’m a kid…help me understand…are you equating homosexuals as pedophiles? I don’t think you can make that connection. Pedophiles come in both sexes and all classes.

SMTA had said: “Seems like the church is accepting of homosexuality by accepting the behavior of it’s homosexual priests. eh?” - and you respond that in fact it’s not homosexuality, it’s pedophilia!

So what is more excusable in the eyes of the Church? To be a pedophile or to be a homosexual? Or how does it matter for the issue of guilty priests?

Bloggers such as this dishonest one (gkupsidedown.blogspot.com/2010/03/pedophile-priests.html) try to throw the blame on the society, saying the society fails to recognize that many cases of alleged priest pedophilia in fact have to do with “euphebophilia”, homoerotic attraction to teenagers. So the society is to blame - implies the blogger - because they don’t want to incriminate homosexuality per se, so they prefer to talk about pedophilia instead. Unbelievable!

And the “Catholic” blogger goes on by saying: “Sexual abuse of an adult, or a sexually experienced older teenager is wrong, and damaging, and should be punished, but it is not the same as the sexual abuse of a younger, innocent child.” Even more unbelievable!
So is the Church more lenient towards “euphebophilic” priests, while homosexuality continues to be considered a grave sin for lay people???

I am under attack for hiding rape and pedophilia…?
I am accepting of homosexuality, because I have accepted the behavior of homos. priests?
I ignored abused children?

These are all lies… The Church has done none of these things… You cannot use such a general term as “the Church”. You must also think that Jesus is guity too then since He is the Head of the Church.

Are you saying that Jesus is a sinner…?

I dont know, are you more lenient towards “euphebophilic” priests…?

If most Catholics were, would you then be too…?
