My wife and I are huge fans of this show.

We watched episode 1 & 2 last night to refresh our memories and excitement.

And boy was I excited afterwards. I had planned on just watching episode 1 but then we decided to watch “just 5 minutes” of episode 2.

I forgot how great that show was, ESPECIALLY at the beginning of the season!

Awesome.

I would have thought that LOST is a no go for a Catholic

I am a fan. I missed the first few episodes of season one and am seriously considering renting the DVD set to watch them… and probably the rest of the season… before next week’s premiere.

I got my husband and my sister-in-law hooked on the show by watching last seasons finale… they keep asking me when it starts up again!

I was hooked on it for half of the first season. Then I kind of got busy and stopped watching it about mid-season. I plan on buying the season 1 DVD set and catching up before the new season starts. When doesn’t it start BTW? Or has it started?

I suppose they don’t broadcast “Lost” in the UK…

…to recap, “Lost” is an American TV series that is shown on the ABC Network about passengers that survived a plane crash on a deserted island - there’s a LOT of survivors - and the show is about their life and survival on the island - only strange things happen there - and they meet people - or *think * they meet people - in any case, it’s pretty addicting…

…does the new season start tonight???

They do have it in the uk. I haven’t seen it. It is on late at night here so I presumed (possiblt falsely) that it would be immoral

Thanks for the correction. 👍

No, I don’t see the series “Lost” as being immoral. It’s a story about the human struggle to survive which is drama in itself on many levels. But here, they focus on the plane survivors.

You may want to record an episode and check it out!

Cool. They’ll probably have re-runs at a more suitable viewing time soon

Ive been watching lost recently, I missed the first few episodes, but have got the jist of it, we are on the one where the cave collapsed, I can’t wait to find out who hit that clever guy.

They re-show it on sundays at some time, it annoys me how they do that with good tv over here, like ER, House and Desperate Housewives.

Quite a ways into the season, it still appeared possible that they, in fact had all died in the plane crash and were now experiencing purgatory together.

I lost track and have heard that subsequent developments nearly rule out that interpretation, at least from a legitimate catholic understanding.

I tried to get my husband to watch but couldn’t. Than my son said it was the story my husband wrote thirty years ago and that got him hooked. I did miss a few episodes meant to pick them up this summer but I forgot.

I’m a huge fan of the show. In fact, next to Jeopardy! and FOX News et al, it’s the only TV I watch (I’m a video gamer)! 😃

I’ve seen every episode with the exception of Hurley’s story, where the significance of the set of numbers that keep showing up…

I’m looking forward to the second season…

Due to poor t.v. reception, my wife and I would tape it. But then the next day I’d look online and see if I could find th episode. Well I have all of season 1 so I put the first 10 on a DVD and my wife and I have been re-watching them.

Last night we watch episode 6 I believe - Sun’s story.

I started keeping a list of all the nicknames that Sawyer gives everyone.

It’s been fun to watch certain episodes (namely #4 - Locke’s story) and remember what an incredible shock certain things were.

There are also things I forgot about - like when they first arrive at the caves they find some dead bodies that Jack estimates as being dead for about 60 years. They refer to them as Adam & Eve.

My wife gets Entertainment Weekly and apparently there were some spoilers in there so she didn’t read it. Our sunday paper also had some stuff about the upcoming season so we skipped reading that too.
