We thank you for your many blessings in our lives and today we especially thank you for the gift of discernment. We lift up in prayer the intentions of sojournersolo and ask for your blessing, mercy, and the gift of helping sojournersolo find the plan for life that you desire. Lord, we are not supposed to offer others advice, but I think I know that your great desire for all of your people to be joyful, prayerful, and to live as closely to the way your son Jesus did, with our frailties and human faults. You desire for all of your people to live in a state of loving, both giving and receiving, and to love others as your son Jesus loves us. When suffering and challenges enter our lives, one measure of our faithfulness is how we deal with them and endure them with an even manner and upbeat attitude. Lord, please send your comforting and consoling Holy Spirit to be with this dear child of yours, and help he/she to resolve the major relationship issues and release the burdens and anxiety of the current situation by having great hope, faith, and belief in your divine providence. No one ever said any of this would be easy, dear Lord, but with the grace and love you have for each one of us, we are prepared for the most difficult of journeys and know that you will be there for us each time we call.

I ask you for your prayers for my situation. I have recently been trying to decide about leaving a very unhappy relationship I’ve had for 3 years, and every time I think its done it revives again. I am confused and unhappy- I know that I am loved,in the heart, but the action part of the relationship is unsatisfying for my own needs. I love this person, but I think its probably not worth it to hang in there, and I need to disconnect from my hope. My prayers haven’t seemed to have much of an effect, so I’m coming here to ask others to pray for help. Thank you.
