Lots of Liberal Anglican Priests/Bishops?

The only classical music that has gurney’s thorough seal of approval is that of Mozart.

Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, Piano Concerto number 21 in C, le nozze di figaro, non piu andrai, Die Zauberflote Act 2, Don Giovani, Requiem in D, those are all my favorites.

Mozart was and is untouchable. Nobody in classical music has ever been even remotely in his league, period. He’s the only one I’ll listen to…

Plus I am a huge fan of the Amadeus play and film. Greatest movie ever made hands-down.

Forgive me, but I cannot offer an explanation as to why we see this in the Anglican Church. However, it is true that in the US and Canada in particular we see such a liberal approach to theology that it is difficult to even call them Christian. They seem to have moved on to a more secular humanist approach to life while keeping some of the trappings of Christianity around in order to keep the name.

Of all the things within the broad Christian faith, it is this liberalism that if fear more than anything else. I know that their labors will be stopped by the Holy Spirit, but their damage to the body of Christ will cause great pain. We should all pray for their spiritual health and a revival of truth within these churches.

That’s precisely the reason the Pope opened the door to Anglicans to preserve an Anglican use ordinariate. He was asked by conservative Anglicans to make a way for them to enter the Church en masse and so he did. The oridantion of women and the selection of active homosexuals and women as bishops has a lot of them running out the door. Oddly the Am-Church crowd in the west wants exactly the same thing in the Catholic Church. I guess they can’t learn by example.
 
But the problem is, are these folks “running out the door” to Catholicism just because of things like W.O. not truly buying into the theology of the Catholic Church, papal infallibility, papal supremacy of jurisdiction, indulgences, the treasury of merit, Marian dogmas, and all the other stuff? Are these folks just running FROM something or are they truly running TO something? Running away from loony stuff like WO is not a reason to join the Catholic Church. One must buy the entire product to be Catholic so one would hope these people would join the CC because they love and want the theology, morality, and polity that it enjoys. I’m not so sure they all do. One can only speculate.
