Satan is a fallen seraphim. Seraphim are bearers of light. “Lucifer” seems to be a title rather than a name. Satan no longer uses that name or title (whichever it was for him) as he no longer bears light (except of the illusionary kind.)You’re a fool if you think one who bears light is Satan.

Genesis does not say that the snake was the devil. It only says “serpent”. It never says it was the devil.I am starting to suspect that Lucifer is an idea, not an entity.
In Genesis he is a snake, and in Job he is arguably an angel, who talks to God in heaven and is called ha-Satan.
