Yes, that is the scientific opinion: the Light of the Resurrection (some type of radiation) produced the indelible 3-D image of Christ on the Shroud.

For me that miracle is the most glorious Light of Faith.

So unless you or anyone else want to add anything, this sadly would be an appropriate time for me to bring this long Lumen Fidei thread (that I started in July 2013) to a close.

Thank you Paduard. I remember last Advent you stressed the importance
of the Second Coming.
Gospel Mark13:33-37

Jesus said to his disciples:
“Be watchful! Be alert!
You do not know when the time will come.
It is like a man traveling abroad.
He leaves home and places his servants in charge,
each with his own work,
and orders the gatekeeper to be on the watch.
Watch, therefore;
you do not know when the Lord of the house is coming,
whether in the evening, or at midnight,
or at cockcrow, or in the morning.
May he not come suddenly and find you sleeping.
What I say to you, I say to all: ‘Watch!’”

Do you think the Shroud image could contain any other visual ‘accident’ similar to a two dimensional hologram as outlined in the (duibious?) science of string theory.

I am not familiar (or qualified) with the String Theory.

My most recent contribution, by definition of the Second Coming, will be my last posting on the one and a half year thread studying the first Encyclical of Pope Francis:

Lumen Fidei.

It is a magnificent work!
