The more relevant question is: Who is given authority to interpret scripture?

"1 Corinthians 2 :Yet we do speak wisdom among those who are mature; a wisdom, however, not of this age nor of the rulers of this age, who are passing away; but we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the hidden {wisdom} which God predestined before the ages to our glory;…For to us God revealed {them} through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God…Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual {thoughts} with spiritual {words.} But
a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and
he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised…But we have the mind of Christ."
John 14 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things,
John 15 “When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, {that is} the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me.”
John 16 "But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. 8 “And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment…”
I do not want to overwhelm you because Scripture has a lot more to say about the work of the Holy Spirit, which is a believers resident Truth teacher. He uses diligent study of the Scripture to lead, such as the Bereans. He uses faithful pastors and teachers who hold firm to the Truth of Scripture. He uses books and a host of other methods to enlighten the believer, which increases their wisdom, understanding and love for the Trinity.
Friend(s); if you believe that an institution must interpret Scripture for you; then you prove yourselves useless because you are too lazy to study and understand what the word of Lord is and in essence you deny the gospel of Christ through your own laziness. If you trust in God, then you must trust that He will keep His promises and lead you, Himself, to all truth concerning the Trinity and the message of salvation. If you trust in an institution to do this for you; then IMO you prove yourselves as “natural persons” and cannot understand because the love of the Father is not in you.**
