I’ll have to check it out later. I haven’t always agreed with her politics, but I very much liked her as a teacher and adviser. She always made students feel welcome, and didn’t push her politics on them. I believe she has a great heart and an apparent love for teaching.
 
She throws in some “facts” about how a saint once thought that capital punishment was mandatory, and Pope John Paul II thought it should be outlawed.

What she didn’t say was that JPII said that it was no longer necessary because of the prison system. Times change. Circumstances change.

And it is the Pope’s words we follow, when teaching in union with the bishops.

She came off as very likeable, actually made the church seem more likeable. But, she did that by implying that the current bishops are just too stupid to realize they’ve got their theology mixed up with protestantism and don’t really understand Catholicism. But she said it sooo nicely.
 
And another thing, she fell in line with the democrat agenda and discussed only the contraception issue and avoided the abortion issue.
 
I kind of painted the bishops as dogmatic, and purely political. She thinks birth control should be forced on the Catholic institutions? It’s one one nail in the coffin, it won’t hold down the lid.
