Thanks everyone for the wonderful discussion!
However, I turns out I’m getting a house afterall!
So the new computer will have to wait at least another year. Well worth the wait for a house I’m certain!

Oddly, so do I. We’ll, I bought it. It resides with my mother-in-law now. But it’s dead slow in comparison. Of course, it’s running that poor excuse for an OS known as Windows 98 SE. I’m on Win 2000 here at work, as my agency, the US Forest Service, has just now decided XP is bug-proof enough to deploy.😃
