We chose not to have our sons circumcised. They are 8 and 4 and have never had an infection or any complications from being left intact.
I find it fascinating that most people in the US are horrified at the thought of female circumcisions that are practiced in many nations around the world, but don’t give a second-thought to routine infant circumcision for males here in the US. I really don’t see much of a difference…
