Well it doesnt satisfy my curiosity at all. And it shows how you are prejudiced. First off utah is a state, not a religion. Your assertion is that mormons are somehow dumber and more gullible and therefore more likely to be fooled. That is as backward as the people used to think the same about the poles, jews, italians, blacks, and any other group that was different. The irony is that you typed this on MLK day.hope this satisfies your curiosity…
So to start utah is 60 percent mormon. azcentral.com/news/articles/2008/11/20/20081120fewer-mormons1120-ON.html
Second Teo was born and raised in Hawaii. Not Utah. So somehow you are asserting that he has some kind of “Utah” mindset?
Third, in high school Teo had a 3.5 and was accepted to Notre Dame. He is also an Eagle Scout. Are these indicators of being a fool? No? Oh ok so just his religion then.
For the record I am the smartest person I know and I did not get accepted to Notre Dame. And I hated HATED HATED boy scouts.
Objectively lets think about what some odd things religions believe.
Muslims believe in the revelation of what would be considered a child molester in today’s world. Some eastern religions believe that people can fly to the tops of trees to do kung fu… Or that we were reincarnated and could be animals. Still others believe the day you were born affects your personality, In Christianity we believe that a dead man lives. And in Catholicism we believe we eat the flesh of God himself… So lets not throw stones.
Now lets think about some other reasons Utah could have some high pyramid scams. Hmmmmm well, Utah does have the highest stay at home mom rate and most pyramid schemes target THOSE types of people

besides, we all know how gullible women are, I mean one married me.
Personally I like the idea that the “religion of Utah” has stay home with the kids. Would that more Catholics did that. Too bad it makes them more suceptable to preditors and scammers (probably Catholics, or at the very least Texans.
I live in an area that is predominantly mormon. Some counties make Utah look like a liberal atheistic wasteland full of alcoholism and debauchery. I can tell you that they are not gullible, that they are shrewd businessmen, amazing moms, and the top of the class in schools.
To say that Teo is more gullible because of his faith is silly and implies that it is smarter to be a pot smoking, girl chasing, average athiestic athlete than a man of faith, any faith. Your assertion is not only offending to Mormons and Teo personally but to me as a Catholic who believes some pretty weird, gullible stuff right down to my bone. Not the least of which is my savior Jesus Christ. and his Holy Church in which we believe that saints could fly, the sun can dance and we can eat God. I guess that makes me a fool too.
This is a kid who got punked about a girl. The stupid ones are the ones who started this. Well them, and the media for making such a huge issue.
Does mormonsim believe wrong and outlandish things, YUP!
As do Muslims, Protestants, Jews, Hindus, Buhddists, Athiests, and Nancy Pelosi.
Actually come to think of it Notre Dame had the biggest scam of all pulled on it by the president of the US. So I guess Catholics are the MOST gullible silly, easily scammed and hoodwinked people on the planet.
