Any ladies still wear the mantilla/veil to mass?
I don’t believe she was asking for anyone’s opinion. I am quite sure her OP was simply asking the question if anyone covered their head.what does the opinion of anyone else matter if you are convinced it is a good thing to do?
I couldn’t agree more! How can we hold on to our Catholic identity, when our acts of piety and traditions are constantly changing, or brought under attack.I think part of the reason people my age don’t “stay” Catholic is that most of the traditions that made us stick out a bit are gone.

We have been talking about it here: forums.catholic-questions.org/showthread.php?t=279626OK, I actually need to ask something about this, so I must apologize to the OP for doing so…
Can someone explain the color meanings for Mantillas?
Ok, thanks!
I do but very rarely. I am making a vow for 2009 to wear my veil in church as much as I can. Pray for me :bounce: :bounce:Any ladies still wear the mantilla/veil to mass?

After a few months of NOT wearing a veil to every Mass, etc… then you might start getting looks! ( I am one of few who wear a head covering in my church)I do but very rarely. I am making a vow for 2009 to wear my veil in church as much as I can. Pray for me :bounce: :bounce:
