I will pray for the victims. Did anyone else notice that there was no rejoicing in the streets in any Christian country concerning this tragedy like there was by the Palestinians after 9/11.

Of course, not, It would be barbarian and don´t represent the christian charity.

I did not think of it until I read your post, but I do hope no one danced in the street burning Iranian flags. I was wondering if terrorism was considered? Does anyone know?

Why make it political? The guy up the street from us had a party to view the beginning of the bombing of Baghdad. Needless to say we were not there. But the idea that celebrating the death others doesn’t take place in Christian countries is just not true.

Well said. There always seems to be someone who has to say ‘look how much better we are than THEM.’ even when talking about a tragedy like this 😦

You bet I’m better than the barbaric Palestinians and other Muslims who celebrated 9/11. That clear enough for you?

Which, nevertheless, has nothing to do with the fact that lots of people have died in Tehran.

And if you could find just one case of someone in the Western world celebrating this tragedy you would be rightly condemning them, so why not let the world know that we are better than the barbarians who celebrate tragedies in our countries?

I don’t think it appropriate to use a tragic accident as an excuse to remind people of how supposedly wonderful your society is, compared to some group of other people. Especially in the next sentence after you say you’re going to pray.

Mike

My prayers go out to the victims and their families. Also, my prayers go out for the conversion of the moral relativists.

You have your opinion and I have mine, so we agree to disagree.
