Hello,
Here’s a situation maybe some of you have come across, with positive results.
My wife and I are legally married, and greatly desire to have our marriage convalidated by the Catholic church. We have met with our parish Priest, and have fulfilled all the requirements except one - witnesses. We are relatively new to the area and don’t know anyone. Also, all our family members don’t live anywhere nearby. All our attempts at finding interested parties have not been productive. This “should” be a simple matter - but it’s stopping the ceremony cold. Any thoughts, suggestions and opinions are welcome. Thank you.
