I have just finished reading this letter to my wife. We were both moved by the depth of the faith and love expressed. This young man should be the patron saint of those young couples contemplating marriage. Blessed Bartolome, Pray For Us.

I wanted to know if this was the same letter featured on EWTN on Valentine’s Day.
 
The choice of those words is just…incredible, I’m a guy, but I bet some girls fell in love with him after reading that. 😉

Wow. And only 21! What insight into love and the Lord! That brought a tear to my eye reading it. I will share this letter with my fiance. I agree with Deacon Ed–I hope that upon Blessed Bartolome’s canonization, he becomes the patron of engaged or dating couples.
