That can’t be true. Our conservative posters here have been gleefully announcing the opposite on several threads. Are you calling them liars? Not I.

The term liar indicates a knowing intent to deceive. Even the article does not call the Cardinal Newman Society liars but says they are incorrect.

The Cardinal Newman Society still has the press release on their web site which has the opposite information. No correction or retraction.

There were articles in the paper. I think people just wanted to discuss it. That we supported the “so called decision” of the Cardinal does not mean anything other than that. We post articles all the time about issues we want to discuss with other Catholics. Don’t turn this into something political. No one was lying.
 
Marymount Manhattan College has not been Catholic since 1961. Cardinal Egan declared a non-Catholic school…non- Catholic. Kind of redundant no?

Nah, that doesn’t shred the Seamless Garment. It just says that certain parts of it are more important.
