Is your faith compatible with Astheroth (sp?) the Queen of Heaven?
Yes and no… its a deeper question than you think… it goes back to the whole ‘Heavenly Council’ belief as recorded in the OT. It is compatible in the way that the consort of EL or YHVH is one of the incarnations of the Goddess… it is not compatible in the sense that Astaroth is a Prince of Hell type thing…Is your faith compatible with Astheroth (sp?) the Queen of Heaven?
Correct… Her worship spread far beyond Egypt, though…please disregard my question the net tells me it is an Egyptian goddess
Yeah I read about the prince o’ hell thing too. But I more concerned was Isis called the queen of heaven the way Astaroth was? Did Isis bear a son? Is it based on fertility? I guess I can wiki all of this. Haha!Yes and no… its a deeper question than you think… it goes back to the whole ‘Heavenly Council’ belief as recorded in the OT. Yes, she is called the Queen of Heaven… she was also known as She of 10,000 Names, since all goddesses were considered aspects of her. She bore one son, Horus…Yeah I read about the prince o’ hell thing too. But I more concerned was Isis called the queen of heaven the way Astaroth was? Did Isis bear a son? Is it based on fertility? hmm i am probably asking too much here but in a historic sense if El is an incarnation of the goddess how did El lead the people of Israel away from Pharo.EL or YHVH is one of the incarnations of the Goddess
Does the Obelisk represent the male organ and was the obelisk an article of Horus?Yes, she is called the Queen of Heaven… she was also known as She of 10,000 Names, since all goddesses were considered aspects of her. She bore one son, Horus…
As per Genesis 3:15 and the prophets this was not to be just any virgin; This virgin will not be tainted with the evil one, That God has placed enmity between the serpent and the woman and her seed which also foretells of her virginity because she carries her own seed. When prophecy was written, it was said that a virgin will give birth to a child.
Do you think her virginity is incidental? Or do you suppose that there is something theologically or spiritually significant regarding a virgin?
El is not an incarnation of Isis… his female consort was (Astarte I think, but She and Asherah were mixed when El and YHVH were combined)… El and YHVH were combined over time, but originally, YHVH was a son of El and his consort was Asherah (also considered an Isian aspect).hmm i am probably asking too much here but in a historic sense if El is an incarnation of the goddess how did El lead the people of Israel away from Pharo.
Now i might really showing how dumb i am as i make the assumption that Isis being an Egyptian deity Pharo would have been a priority.
I believe she is coming again.El is not an incarnation of Isis… his female consort was (Astarte I think, but She and Asherah were mixed when El and YHVH were combined)… El and YHVH were combined over time, but originally, YHVH was a son of El and his consort was Asherah (also considered an Isian aspect).
Also, while a very dramatic story, the Exodus has no evidence of having ever taken place… at least not the mass exodus as described, so no priority what have been necessary. Also, the Goddess is no respecter of governments, but of truth and righteousness… your government goes bad, you lose her favor, regardless of national origin.
No… it is a ray of the sun… a diadem (like in the crown described in Revelations) or on the Statue of Liberty. In that Horus is associated with the sun, I suppose it could be…Does the Obelisk represent the male organ and was the obelisk an article of Horus?
Could you elaborate on that, please?I believe she is coming again.
That’s right. I can quote the Bible all I want. The point is that Catholic devotion to Mary has a scriptural foundation. It isn’t something we’ve adopted from the pagan mystery religions. That is correct… I don’t believe he was, if he existed at all… you can quote the bible all you want, but since it is a patchwork of redacted priest-craft nonsense, it won’t help your cause.
The first part… sorry, but it is adopted from older sources… even your church fathers knew this, and tried to explain it away by saying satan had created counterfeits because he knew what was coming. That’s right. By the way, where was Isis when the one true God delivered the Jews from slavery in Egypt? Having a pedicure?![]()
Care to cite these Church Fathers? The first part… sorry, but it is adopted from older sources… even your church fathers knew this, and tried to explain it away by saying satan had created counterfeits because he knew what was coming.
The second part…I believe I answered that in an above post… there is no evidence of an exodus… and, if I’m not mistaken, no evidence of Jews being slaves in Egypt.
Its been awhile since I read them, so I’ll have to dig that information up for you…Care to cite these Church Fathers?
Are you serious?I’m afraid you are mistaken.

Judaism, as in OT, does not record any virgin birth. Hinduism and Buddhism too do not believe in virgin birth.Mary’s virginity (among other things) was adopted from other sources… it was an accepted and recognized attribute of divinity… if you want to make your gal special, just give her the attributes and titles of the Goddess.
