I went to a Healing Mass over the weekend awhile back and I remember the priest saying that “when you take the Tabernacle out of the main sanctuary the people turn towards one another rather than to Christ as their focus.” He went on to explain that “then you have a mess hall situation in the church”. Also “The more orthodox the diocese, the more vocations you will see.” “The vocations are there, but no one is listening because they aren’t able to.”
Well, you could say, we have our tabernacle right in front, in the center…o.k., so that leads to the thought of why am I not focused on Christ then when I attend Mass? Could it be that I do not really believe in His true presence in the Eucharist? I freeze whenever I see people up at the altar gabbing away. He is there, He is there as you or I sitting in the pew AND He is watching. Forget about when you stand before Him after you die, look at how most people stand before Him now in HIS Church.
Why is this girl so crazy? Why can’t we just go to Church and do/wear whatever we want? I don’t judge anyone, don’t judge me. I’m not there to judge, I just go and do my thing. God doesn’t care about all the details, (Really???) HEELLLOOOO! Then, you’re NOT Catholic!
It seems like there is this agenda going on to protestanize the Catholic church and it makes me so mad

. The Catholic faith IS absolutely beautiful and all the protestant people I know that have converted (a lot), mormons too, want to be Catholic in its entirety.
Actually, I think what’s really going on is that no one really wants to change or grow, there is this spiritual stagnation in the air that I’ve experienced, it’s death really. I’ve been to a dead parish before, I loved the priest, but the people were just complacent. It was a yucky feeling. Soon, there was one other person there who was new that made a remark to me about it as well.
The communion lines are long, but seriously, I see tumble weeds flying by when I go to confession, it’s so sad.
By the way, Father Benedict Groeschel and his order The Franciscan Friars/Sisters of the Renewal are praying for a resurgence of the Catholic laity. Sadly he has sincerely stated that “they haven’t seen any fruit of that yet.”
God Bless.
