That’s ridiculous. It is our duty as Christians to do these things. I can’t imagine a world without a place for children to get a catholic education and where there is no catholic hospital. We should not even consider getting out of business.

Then the thing to do is to stop accepting aid from the state or federal governments. Once you do, you are going to be beholding to them. What kind of a Catholic education are the kids getting when they are being taught that homosexual lifestyle is ok and just another way of living? Or when Catholic hospitals are required to perform abortions, or be lawsuited right out of business? In cases like this, the church would not be practising what it is preaching. That’s my point. We have undergone changes in our country that we coundn’t have imagined twenty years ago. Pope JP2 said, “Be not afraid”, which I’m not, but when I start thinking about these things, I get a little jittery. Pray for our country!
