Mass closed during pandemic? What are you doing?

Just wondering what others are doing in lieu of attending Mass if it’s cancelled due to the virus. In my diocese and state, they are all cancelled until at least April 3 with the faithful in attendance, however, our bishop is having our priests still celebrate Mass.

One of the local parishes has started live streaming. Nobody is there but him and whoever is watching online. I’ve been trying to watch that live and pray the Spiritual Communion when I’d normally receive Communion. If I can’t do that, I try to find an on demand Mass online for that day and pray along. If that’s not feasible, I at least pray the Mass readings and prayers on my own, which I always do the days I don’t attend.

I’ve also been praying daily the 15 decade rosary during this time.
 
There are tons of streaming Masses available and online rosary groups to join, some of which are also streaming.

Also Adoration is still going on at 2 churches near me. We are instructed to sit far apart.

Many churches are also still open for prayer so one can go do Stations or something, again just stay 6 feet away from everybody and wash your hands.

My parish is live streaming. I watched our Pre Sanctified Liturgy today.
 
Will likely tune into the local EWTN affiliate for the Mass, or catch the Mass broadcast from the Diocese of Lansing, MI.
 
My pastor is video taping his private masses and sending them out with web links. He is also sending us little thoughts, readings and topics to consider each day and sent us a choice of prayers we can use to make a spiritual communion.

I had been lighting vigil candles for my father each week and planned to continue until the anniversary of his death in April but since I cannot, I am lighting a candle given to me in his honor at All Souls Day mass while praying for him at home.

If I had young children the pastor’s daily thoughts would be part of daily reading and discussion.
 
Reading the Gospels. That’s about all I’m interested in doing.
 
Monastic Diurnal. Rosary. Prayers. I don’t do online stuff. I dont consider it valid. My own personal oppinion. Dont know what church says on validity and not looking to argue it. Speaking specifically about me.
 
I receive daily videos from my parish so far our pastor and parochial vicars along with one of our Deacons have been rotating.Reading the daily gospel followed by a short homily and the prayer of spiritual Communion. I find it very comforting to see there faces every morning.
We too have restricted Adoration which I will resume this coming Monday.Been doing a scriptural rosary online daily.EWTN Mass on Sundays🙏

Exchanging bible positive bible passages with friends on line, and visiting message boards.

Mostly Psalms passages. Psalms 56:3, Psalms 23:4, Psalms 9:11… one more John 13:7

I’m also going to listen to the services on my churches websites.

I just created a YouTube channel for my parish and we will be posting videos of our priest’s private Masses.

Haven’t learned how to do Livestream yet but if our priest wants it, I guess I’ll be learning.

Currently I’m watching other Masses and praying Liturgy of the Hours, Morning, Evening and Night Prayers, and the Rosary.
 
Please pm me the link! I can’t go to Presanctified Liturgy tomorrow evening because it will be offered without the presence of the faithful.

Will they live stream Divine Liturgy for the Feast of the Annunciation? 🙏
 
Fr. Hezekias & Fr. David Anderson suggested that everyone do the Liturgy of the Hours.
 
Our church is live streaming over the internet a daily Mass. On Sunday we will have a virtual Mass with priest, deacon, lector and music minister. I will be the music minister. It’s going to be so strange singing to an empty church. My voice will be going out over the information superhighway though.
 
I go to the Passionists production of The Sunday Mass for my participation in the liturgy on weekends. Yesterday on St. Patrick’s day, I viewed daily Mass through Word on Fire. Bishop Barron just began this due to the corona virus outbreak causing church closings. My son sent a link to the Magnificant (us.magnificant.net.free) as additional worship site. I haven’t explored it yet. My daughter has two young children ages 7&4 and she has gotten creative by doing a children’s church. At Mass it is difficult to keep them attentive so she didn’t think they’d watch on-line without a lot of squirming. They sit down and she does the Mass readings from her Missalette. Both paid attention and afterwards she facilitates a discussion about the readings. She said that she was surprised by what they had retained evident by the questions they asked. Blessings in disguise.
 
We asked our bishop if we can bring the Eucharist to the parishioners.
Why should we allow the threat of this virus stop us (THE WHOLE ENTIRE NATION) from receiving the Blessed Sacrament? Don’t we need the grace and intimacy with the Lord now more than ever?
 
Basically we’re watching daily Mass on a local Catholic channel. Priests are still celebrating Mass sine populo. I also listen to Mass recordings while I’m at work.
