Hey everyone,
A very orthodox priest changed around the order of the mass, which I am sure is fine…I actually thought he was doing this to give his homily last to all the people that didn’t leave after the Eucharist was given, but he didn’t really give a homily at all. I wonder if he used the apostle’s creed as the homily. Any ideas? This is a good priest who is very orthodox, so I wonder what the reasoning is because from what I was taught there is Liturgy of the Word and Liturgy of the Eucharist. Is the Word just the Bible readings…I guess I thought it was the homily, too. Thanks
Peace
