For nearly five years Martin Pasi has been enveloped in the art and craft of creating his Opus XIX, the new organ at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. With a team of five metal and wood workers, Pasi handcrafted the instrument’s more than 100,000 pieces in his studio near Seattle and trucked them halfway across the country. For the past eight months, he settled in Houston to fine-tune the instrument in its new downtown home.
